Kailey has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2014. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from The University of South Florida and her Master's Degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She moved back to the area in 2016 to be closer to her family.
Kailey has worked in a variety of settings with clients across the lifespan. She has a passion of helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop their symbolic communication skills. Additionally, she has in depth experiences using all forms of Augmentative Communication (e.g., symbols, devices, iPads).
When she's not working, Kailey enjoys spending time with her family, riding her motorcycle, and eating. She is also a contributing member of the Pinellas County Council for Persons with Disabilities.
We serve communities near Oldsmar and provide services in our patient's homes. This provides a more comfortable setting for those children who get anxious in new environments. It also allows for family/patient centered therapy and easier 'carry-over' of skills. Our goal is to give you (the parent/caregiver) the skills to be your child's personal therapist!
Blossom Therapies is the result of a therapist's motivation to provide treatment in an ethically sound, patient driven way. She wanted a chance to treat people with the attention and care that they each deserved.
Blossom opened it's doors with a promise to devote specialized instruction and enough attention for each patient to meet his/her goals. Communication is the name of the game, and that's why Blossom's goal is to start outside funding to help services reach people who otherwise might not receive it.
As we grow, we plan to hold Autism (and other diagnosis)-friendly events (haircuts, movie nights, restaurant visits) so that our friends who are differently-abled have a chance to take part in all the fun of Tampa Bay!
